Babbletalk update

My Amazon customer just WON'T give up, doesn't ever seem to understand, and for all I know, might just be jacking with me, and since what I say makes no sense to him, I threw in some meaningless crap too. I mean, talking SENSE doesn't do any good!

Communication, say what?

It amazes me how lazy people can be when they have the incredible power of a computer at their fingertips, literally. It also amazes me how angry some people can come across in email when you have no idea who you are talking to, or why they are angry. I've always hated the brievity and lack of punctuation like "cn u shp 2 canada", though with today's phone messages and Blackberry's, I'm seeing it more and more and maybe getting a bit more numb about it. This is just a ramble today, I'm not really trying to make much of a point.

So I'm selling T's car on eBay. Which one would you think was a kid (real emails) :

"can u please give me a call XXX-XXX-XXXX or e mail your # to me and i will call u, have a few questions about the car thanks for your time scott XXXXXX i have started the bidding for you"

or

"I live in Overland Park and am seeking a replacement for our own old 94 Legend GS. Is it possible to see it in person before the auction ends? Email me at XXXXXXX or my phone number is 913-XXX-XXXX. Thanks, Pam."

And a while back, after something sold on eBay and the buyer got an automated PayPal request, the buyer emails me:

"what the fuck is up with you wanting to confirm address you send it where I want you to send it I will pay for it I buy stuff on ebay all the time who the fuck do you think you are"

followed up with:

"all I care is you get your money Paypal. where I ship it and why is none of your business
let me know I will be on somoene elses"


Nice guy. But all that leads me to last night's emails, which is why I'm babbling. I put a TV up for sale on craigslist.

"I am very interested, can you tell me the serial number? I just wanna make sure its not stolen, can we meet tonite? Love to meet ya good guy and pick up your item. could you come to my place so I can purchase it? "

Uh huh.... Kinda scary ain't it?

But the JEWEL of the night is this one! Via Amazon, I get a request to cancel an order. but, it's the third time this guy has emailed me over the period of a week or more, and I've told him time and time again, it's been shipped, I can't cancel it, it's already gone. HELLO!?!?!
